History > Introduction

Professor Doctor Paul Niehans (1882-1971) was one of the most eminent personalities in the history of modern medicine. In 1931 he discovered cellular therapy, which opened the way to the development of biologically oriented natural medicine.
Doctor Alfred Pfister and Professor Niehans worked closely together for several years. They discovered that extracts from animal fetal cells were the best source of vital cellular substances.
In 1952, Doctor Alfred Pfister perfected Cellvital cellular therapy, which became the exclusive property of Health Center Clinique Lémana.
In 1985, when Mrs Denise de Loë-Pfister succeeded her
father, the Cellvital method had already proven its
effectiveness on thousands of patients.
